Overview
Spatial Mailbox is a messaging app for Meta Quest. You write and decorate a letter with your hands, send it to a friend, and they open it in their own space in VR or mixed reality. The app started as Dear Metaverse and launched under its new name in May 2026, with a web portal at spatialmailbox.com.

My role
I produced the app from prototype to launch and built most of what runs behind it. That includes the Firebase backend (authentication, database, cloud functions, and storage), an internal React dashboard for user, letter, and notification operations, and the release and incident process. When a production issue hit on 12 May 2026, it was diagnosed and hot-fixed the same day with a written post-mortem. I run support and operations after launch.
